One hot summer day in Texas, a kind Samaritan watched Bailey and her 5 puppies get dumped in a park to survive on their own. A friend helped crawl through the underbrush to get this family to safety and MPR was contacted for help. While her puppies seemed very healthy and happy, Bailey was in rough shape. Her teeth were worn down, she had no canines, she was starving with sores on her body and she was heartworm positive! After a few months of frequent vet visits with MPR vets and time well spent in an extremely loving home, Bailey has completed her heartworm treatment and filled out into a beautiful, healthy, happy dog! She now enjoys life as a mountain dog in Steamboat Springs with a family of her own who loves her dearly!
